1 The church in the home (CitH) is the basic building block of church growth where relationship & body ministry can flourish

2 Each new home that opens up in your mission field should be considered a 'church plant' to facilitate risk-taking and build pioneering faith. Consider your church to be a church planting one even if you havenÍt actually planted anything yet!

3 Training and discipleship are vital for building relationships, for encouraging, challenging and praying for one another, and having fun in a small group setting

4 Keep meeting with your core pioneer team even after they are leading their own churches to continue to impart the regional vision

5 Build your apostolic team from the leaders of the local churches in your region so that each church gets the bigger vision and has hands-on apostolic ministry, and new churches can be planted by the apostolic team members

6 Send pioneers earlier rather than later to avoid frustration - this causes the sent pioneers to continue in relationship with their church (due to an initial dependence on resources) and facilitates growth. They are less likely to leave you for the wrong reasons, and they will truly be sent out

7 Make sure that all those who join you own the larger regional vision, not just their local one

8 Don't rush into a Sunday morning meeting but spend time early on building relationships and meeting midweek in CitH's

9 Don't spend all your time building a strong resourced-based church because when you plant out, it will be pulled apart - build with those who live in your area in preparation for planting into that area

10 Develop leadership teams and be on the lookout for potential new leaders who can fill the gap when others leave to plant out

11 Always plan to plant out beyond your immediate planting vision to facilitate growth and to create flexible wine skins

12 Relationship and vision should be the reason you stay together as a group of churches, not a centralised administration & bank account, which can cause frustration - even separation

13 Keep the church young - send out older members to encourage younger people to take on new tasks
